Being a part of the JVH world since I was 13 I was always immersed in the world of fitness and
bettering myself. I trained constantly and always gave my all during every workout or practice. Unfortunately my training never translated onto the mat when it came to my wrestling career, I was mentally weak and lacked self-confidence and therefore could never reach my full potential as a high school athlete. And this is why I chose to further engage myself in the world of sports performance once I graduated high school and began my second phase of life. Right now I am currently a student in the Rockland Community College M/TS Honors program and a student of life, living the “Victory Lifestyle”.
Upon my graduation of RCC I plan to major in Exercise Science/ Kinesiology once I transfer to a 4 year university.

Living the “Victory Lifestyle” is about learning from your failures, pushing pass them and striving for greatness no matter what phase of life that pertains to. That is why I chose to become a part of the JVH coaching team. For me, it means making up for my past failures and helping those who might have similar roadblocks I did, succeed in whatever they want to do whether on an athletic field or off of it. I strive on making myself 1% better every day as well as helping those around me!

I, along with the other coaches at JVH Performance do not care about your past, your age, or sex- the only thing we care about are your goals. As long as you’re willing to give us 110% every time you walk in our doors, we will give you not only our best as coaches, but people as well. We want nothing more than to help you achieve your goals, become a better person and learn to attack life with a take no s**t attitude!

Along my path to becoming Owner of JVH PERFORMANCE I learned life lessons that could never be replaced. Although my credentials SEEM like I’ve had a lot of success, it wasn’t enough. I trained tirelessly from the young age of 13 and instantly fell in love with sports, winning, training, the battle and everything that goes along with it. However, I never really reached my true potential. Why? My biggest downfall was that I was never fully prepared, mentally that is.

I would always train harder than everyone around me, keeping in mind that my opponent or opponents could very well be doing the same. Often times I wasn’t training the right way due to the fact that there weren’t many strength or performance coaches while I was growing up. However, I still trained as hard as I possibly could with the knowledge I did have and the tools that were available to me. Even with that I experienced a lot of 2nd place finishes. Best case scenario, a team championship at the county, regional, or sectional level, which is great, but zero state championships (aside from the Junior League All-Star Baseball team in 2000). I always felt that I deserved to win it all or the team I was on deserved to win it all. After years of learning and educating myself with my training business, it’s all so clear now. I didn’t have the confidence or mind-set to be a true champion.

So much of winning and VICTORY is about mental toughness and maintaining a strong mind. Physically, I was always well prepared, but mentally there were times where I just didn’t have the mental toughness or confidence to persevere. That fact right there led me to pursue this business. The business of creating champions, the business of teaching younger athletes how to overcome adversity, the business to strive for goals, the business to win at EVERYTHING. THE BUSINESS OF DOING IT ALL WITH INTEGRITY.

I understand that not every athlete we train will be a state champion or ever a champion at all. The main goal is to have each athlete reach his or her own full potential. To some, it is a state championship; to others it’s a starting job on the varsity roster. Every individual is at a different level, but every individual can be a champion by reaching goals they never dreamed of before entering the JVH FAMILY.

That’s right, the JVH FAMILY. Myself and the trainers at JVH PERFORMANCE truly care about the success of each and every athlete that seeks our training programs. We will celebrate with you and give you praise for extra efforts and accomplishments, but we will also let you know when you’re not doing everything you can to reach your goals. All of the trainers here are very well educated and experienced in a number of sports and we continue our knowledge of training on a daily basis to deliver the best training methods to help our athletes succeed.

We love what we do, we will never get tired of all the small VICTORIES in our daily lives or the daily lives of our athletes. We live by the 4 Laws of JVH; INTEGRITY, DILIGENCE, LOYALTY, & TRUTH.
